Oval Brush Giveaway

As I start approaching the grand old age of 25 I thought I would do a pre-birthday giveaway - I know, I know what on earth could I have to give away.
Anyway if you haven't heard about oval makeup brushes where have you been? It's time to crawl out from underneath that rock and get yourself acquainted.
Oval brushes have practically taken the beauty world by storm, their unusual design and satisfactory feel has now become the go to makeup brush.
I'm not really sure if I can call it a brush because it's the in-between of a brush and a sponge, less of the sometimes rough bristle from a brush and more of the softness from a freshly opened sponge.
Well whatever they are, they're a dream!

This 10-piece mermaid oval brush kit literally screams beauty. It has a rose gold finish and makes you feel like you're some sort of goddess.

Part of me wants to hold back and keep them all to myself but lets me honest, do I really need to annoy Jack with my ever growing makeup corner, that has somehow taken over more than the allocated space in the bedroom? I think not, but hey a girl's go to do what a girl's go to do.

So a drum roll please.....
In order of being in a chance of taking home this beautiful set all you need to do is comment below with your best makeup tip.
The draw opens from 23rd August 2016 and closes at 6pm on 4th September 2016.
One winner will be chosen at random and announced Monday 5th September via Instagram and Twitter.

So guys and dolls what are you waiting for? I want to see your best beauty tips and good luck!

love these. Okay my tip is to use cotton buds when removing eyeliner or mascara smudges. It stops you from having to start all over again.

Best make up tip for me is - putting some sellotape just on the edge of your eyebrow down to your eyelashes to get the most even winged eyeliner and crease cut, also putting translucent powder over any shit lipstick to make it matte and last longer!

PRIME PRIME PRIME!!! Key to making your make up last

Or my make up tip is to revive an old pencil eyeliner, put a lighter on it for a few seconds, wait 15secs and it turns into a beautiful gel-like consistency and glides on amazingly!

I recommend doing a face mask one a week but not using the same one each week. Alternate between a mud mask and a peel off mask. It helps reduce the spots and white heads on my face. Oh and half way in the week, use baby powder on your face to help stock it going too greasy.

Always use a primer under foundation. This is a fairly new tip I've picked up, but makes SUCH a difference to the final look and makes foundation last all day without slipping or caking up.

Jo Jones said...

Always use good quality tools to apply make up to get a professional type of finish and wash them regularly

Heather Haigh said...

Don't wear a foundation with spf in it if you are going to be photographed, especially if you have a pale, mature skin, it will be picked up by the camera as a pallid look.

My best make up tip is when youre having a dry skin dab to nab on the foundation!

When you've applied the glue onto your lashes, always let it get tacky before sticking them on or they will slide all over the place!

Applying loose mineral/setting powder BEFORE your foundation may sound crazy but it is a game-changer. If you have oily skin like myself you'll want to add a little again after, but ever since I watched Wayne Goss recommend it it's completely changed my routine. Now I hardly ever have to take my Laura Mercier powder in my bag for touch-ups. Bye, bye shiny t-zone!

Yasmin, these brushes are beautiful! I have the Zoeva rose gold set and it looks so pretty on my dresser. I would've totally annoyed Jack, I don't think I'd be able to part with these even if I had to store them on my boyfriend's bedside table ha!

The best beauty tip i can give anyone is to put high factor sunscreen on your face every day of the year. Whether raining or sunny. 365 days a year of doing this will slow the aging signs of wrinkles more than any product on the market.
