Why working out isn't just for gym addicts

Ugh, the gym!
Wait, hold on. I actually quite like the gym.

Is there time to retract that? Look to put it in black and white working out is actually beneficial for you.
I don't mean lets go work out to bulk out those non-existent muscles or to drop five dress sizes, but to just feel happier.

There are so many different types of people at the gym, have you noticed?
You've got the 'muscle pushers'.

These have to be my favourite, sometimes I'm in complete awe - how does anyone have to time to develop muscles into that shape, let alone develop more than one.

Next you've got the 'do I look good in this outfit' gym goer.
I must admit I like to have a matching out when I'm at the gym. I'm a little self conscious when it comes to working out in-front of 60 plus people, so if the outfits on point then I'm on point. But there does come a time when you just want a complete beast mode workout and no matter what, no one looks good after that.

Then there is always that couple who stroll in together, arm in arm. Sometimes I worry that they'll lose each other at the gym and their entire workout routine will be ruined. I'm all for motivation but no-one needs a cheek kiss every 10 minutes.

Come on guys!

Then there is you. The one that goes to the gym not to look glamorous, or to increase muscle definition, but to just feel a little happier.
It's about doing it for yourself and no one else.

I can't stand that everywhere we look we're told that we're either too skinny or too fat, but no matter what we do it's just not good enough.
How about just doing something for yourself!
Whether you're tall, short, fat, skinny, oval, square or even triangular shaped it's about making sure you're happy with yourself.

Whenever someone asks me how often I go to the gym I automatically say 3-4 times a week. That's a complete lie.
I don't do that.
I don't even know anyone who can be bothered to go that religiously.
I'm more a whenever I feel like it person, and that's more like 2-3 times. More often than not I'm completely exhausted after work and Jack has just walked home and decided that we're getting takeout for dinner (that's a new type of motivation in the books for tonight).

So to put it frankly I'm no gym addict, and you're probably not either, but sometimes a good workout at the gym is just what the doctor ordered.

So pull on those trainers, and those tight leggings that make your booty look amazing and go out and do it for yourself.
The gym isn't for everyone, but working out doesn't just involve wearing uncomfortable sports bras . Grab a swimsuit and head to the pool, or even just put on some clothes and going for a walk.
It's totally up to you.
