Haircare takes time, but try telling that to your boyfriend

Hairdryers, you either love them or hate them.
They're a bit like relationships, one minute it's amazing and everything is going better than you could have ever imagined, but then the tides turn and your hair ends up getting caught in the fan and you have this awkward patch at the back of your head.
I guess you can't win every battle. Note to you, if you're in that relationship, abandon ship now, no one wants to drag around a dodgy bald patch.
It's a good thing Lee Stafford knows his way around hair, because I've finally found a hairdryer that doesn't catch loose pieces hair off guard and drag it into unknown territory.
The Argan Oil AC Dryer is the latest release in the Lee Stafford electrical haircare range, and it doesn't disappoint - finally a hairdryer that is light enough to stuff into my suitcase; thank goodness for the 21st Century.
If quick drying hair is on your agenda then look no further, I can't tell you the amount of dates I've had to cancel because I was doing my hair. It takes time to tame a mane like mine, but I guess the best things are worth waiting for, right?
Try telling that to my boyfriend, I think he has had enough of waiting around for me to get ready for dates.
Anyway, I think he'll be pleased to see that he doesn't have to wait around all evening for my hair to dry; queue a happy boyfriend.
The hair dryer has a quick drying action setting which is perfect if you're having one of those days, or you know, just everyday in general.
It's a hair dryer that actually nourishes your hair, leaving it feel well cared for, even after a heavy heat session. The Argan oil makes a difference and it's noticeable after your first use.

So after winning my boyfriend over with how quickly I can dry my hair, I thought you lovely ladies might want to experience it as well.
The hairdryer is currently marketed at £29.99, so not only is it hair friendly, but pocket friendly as well.
And guess what? You can be in the chance to win this gorgeous Argan oil hair dryer. I'm not kidding you, all you need to do is follow the steps below to be in with a chance of having a salon quality blow dry in the comfort of your own home.
1. Follow on Instagram (@yasminlaronde)
2. Leave a comment on the best haircare tip on the Argan oil hair dryer photo.
3. Finally, good luck. The winner will be announced via Instagram on May 18th 2017 at 6.30pm.

To avoid breakage and static in your hair, instead of using a brush use a wide toothed comb to de-tangle your hair. If you do want to use a brush, use a paddle brush but make sure you never use it on wet hair.

I've been getting so many compliments on how healthy my hair has been looking lately, and that's thanks to this one main trick - I first condition my hair from the nape of my neck downwards, let it sit for a couple of minutes, but instead of rinsing it off, I then shampoo my scalp and wash the shampoo off. The shampoo washes off all the excess conditioner but still leaves the hair with loads of moisture that would normally be stripped off. I then go in with a little deep conditioner only at the ends and voila - your most gorgeous, hydrated mane yet. A little argan oil to tame flyaways goes a long way, too! Every once in a while give your hair a beer rinse and let it dry naturally. I doesn't smell when it's dry but it will have a lovely shine.

Use dry shampoo instead of washing your hair every day. It will help reduce the oil build up in your hair and gives amazing texture. You can also leave dry shampoo in (instead of brushing it out) to give volume. As opposed to washing your hair every day, dry shampoo will help to refresh your hair at the roots and the tips whilst helping you to retain all the essential moisture your hair needs.

My tip is to always make sure you rinse your hair with fresh water after swimming in water with chemicals. I usually deep condition as well to make sure any moisture is replenished straight away!!

never brush your hair wet and dry your hair upside down to get it mostly dry and then style as normal and save time

I get really greasy hair so I only wash my hair at leats every 2-3 days and only put conditioner on about mid way and avoid getting it on my roots and it's really helped

avoid 'shocking' the hair with extreme temperature changes. Cover and protect in the cold, don't blow dry straight in too hot
